America's favorite summer treat — ice cream — is the star of the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum's Annual Ice Cream Sunday, held this past weekend.
The 12th-annual Ice Cream Sunday was from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, In honor of National Ice Cream Day.
Visitors to the event received coupons for FREE Caliche's Frozen Custard.
They also had their annual ice cream sandwich eating contest. The age group categories for the contest were: 4-6, 7-10, 11-13, 14-17, and 18-and-over.
Museum visitors enjoyed the day making their own ice cream by rolling tin cans.
The Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum held dairy demonstrations and presented videos about the history of ice cream.
So mark you calendars for next year's Ice Cream Sunday hosted by the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum.
