New Mexico State Gets Conference Win Over Seattle 72-64

The Aggies men’s team stretched their winning streak to 14 games Thursday night beating the Redhawks 72-64.
Johnny McCants had 14 points and 18 rebounds to lead a balanced scoring attack as 5 Aggies finished in double figures.
Shawn Williams and Ivan Aurrecoechea contributed 11 points apiece and Jabari Rice & Evan Gilyard tossed in 10 points each.
Seattle was lead by Terrell Brown’s 16 points.  NMSU has beaten the Redhawks twice this season and improve their Western Athletic Conference league leading record to 11-0.
Their next game will be Saturday night at home against another WAC opponent Utah Valley.
