White Sands National Park

0

High up in the peaks of the San Andres mountains, the rain wanes and rages with the tides of the moon.  The glorious mineral deposits of Gypsum are washed away, wet and running with the rivers of rainwater.

Down at the base of the San Andres mountains lies the White Sands National Monument; incredible dunes of glistening sand vanilla-pearl in their hues.  These dunes are built on the rivers of Gypsum, steadily streaming down from the mountains, and collecting as the water cycles of life continue indefinitely.

Beautiful, free, and ranging as far as the eye can see, the White Sands National Monument is a must-visit for any resident or traveler in the fine state of New Mexico.
